Interior design Course requirements

1. Application fees

Application fees is a requirement of every college that offers a course in interior design. In some public colleges students are only required to pay 1,000/ – as application fee. However, application fees varies slightly among private, public, and higher learning institutions. In most colleges, application fees is paid during admission. However, in some institutions students are required to pay application fees earlier in order to secure a place especially in high end colleges that attracts a large number of applicants.

Once application fees is cleared, students are assured of studying in the college of their choice. Whether, you apply online or manually, application fees is a necessity. Although, most schools requests for application fees once you are qualified for a course you have applied for. For example, at Ikigai college you need to have a mean grade of C- to enroll for diploma in interior design. Whilst, a certificate needs student to have a mean grade of D – and above in order to secure admission.

School fees is mandated once a student qualifies for applied course. The fees is different among various public, private and higher learning institutions. It is relatively high in private colleges and higher learning institutions. Unlike public institutions, our private school does not secure support from higher education loans board and other financing bodies. For that reason, many students in private colleges are self sponsored or supported by their parents and guardians.

The fees is higher in modernized colleges unlike upcoming schools that are focused on marketing they courses. Although Ikigai college is a developed institution that sets fair charges for instance, 45,000/- for a short course program.

Consequently, a developed college attracts higher fees because of use of modern amenities, technology and fast internet access. In some cases large number of tutors attracts higher fees. Although, it may not be the case in a college with many students where costs are relatively fair.

Finally, location plays vital role in determining institution fees. For example, colleges based in Nairobi or city centers are quite expensive compared to rural colleges.

In order to enroll successfully for interior design course, you must have application fees, forms, copy of national ID, passport size photos, and high school certificates. In most colleges, all these requirements are valid except application fees which differs slightly. Education requirements differ greatly among various colleges depending on management decision.
